Doing a little throwback on Yong's previous work and I found myself have been walking to this point. It is still a short path and frankly there are more to gain - hopefully. Those blooms give me a slight strength to focus and keep the pace on doing things that I love and divert into a perspective of growing a hobby into a career besides helping others by contributing on making memorable artworks.

After quite some time

Spend most of the time at home, sitting at my tiny desk try a few painting medias; gouache,watercolour, acrylic and touch up to the details using digital graphic software looking for the suitable and familiarize techniques in making floral painting. Testing types of paint and colours on different surfaces from paper to canvas to plywood to combination of two of the surfaces (plywood+canvas) to experience the difference.

At the early stage you don't have any ideas of what you will get at the end of the process but you just need to have faith in doing so and willing to do it. Try and error is not a bad stage to be faced. You need to swallow that just to make you alert and learn well. It seems like to become a practice and it turns out in good one when you can accept the failure in the whole process of learning you've been through.

The Almighty is so fair. What we have now is exactly what we need for future. It is all about connecting the dots.

I just can't resist myself from painting flowers. Pardon me :P

Projek Warna 2014

For 2014 in mid year probably i will be joining a local art exhibition named Project Warna 2014 ( Colours Project 2014) in Kuching. This event would combining various local groups of female art lovers around Kuching. By the time i might not be around and will be staying in Johor. But i wish i could make myself available on that moment to display some of my piece to the public. Might be a little event but would be a huge step forward in life.

Life isn't goes well and easy even if you have all the wealth in the world. The absolute matters is YOU to make it right to the way it should be.. Have a happy Sunday... xx

Biological Drawing; The Joints

Lately i feel myself got into the mood of sketching and painting. I feel alive and fresh when i started to have this habit as part of my routine. One weakness i still could not overcome is get my task done. I started to sketch or draw but i hardly get the things done. End up, you hardly see the end product and only see ugly unsettled work. This is so so bad and still find myself struggling towards it. 

I finally finished this painting yesterday. I called it Modern Abstract Painting. My sister told me it looks like biological drawing (well she is a nurse.. hehe) and a friend of mine (Daos, D) sees it as human joint.
